How this guidance is calculated
The two cards show the wind-favoured eligible directions, not an instruction. Take-off uses 05, 27 or 33. Landing normally uses 09, 15, 23 or 27; 33 is added only above 20 kt mean wind. Aircraft badges include wind, crosswind, tailwind, gust-spread and density-altitude guidance.
